We're a friendly, local community of Bernese Mountain Dog lovers here on Sydney's Northern Beaches, and we’re all about celebrating these gentle giants. Whether you're a proud owner, a prospective adopter, or just a fan of the breed, we’d love for you to join us!
This website is an extension of our Facebook group, started by Josh and Kirrili Zimmer in 2015 to bring local Bernese Mountain Dog lovers together & is created as a tribute to their first Berner Phoebe, the founding member. Since then the group has grown dramatically & the website is now our go-to place for sharing information, connecting with fellow dog owners, and staying up-to-date with all things Bernese on the Northern Beaches!
The information on this page is shared by our members and local resources, reflecting the knowledge and experiences we've gained as a community. We have an 'everyone is welcome, no judgement' policy so while we aim to provide helpful insights, we're not offering expert advice. We regularly meet up to share stories, tips, advice, and, of course, to let our dogs play and make new friends. Our group is all about connecting, learning from each other, and building a community of Bernese enthusiasts who truly understand and appreciate this amazing breed.
